CHECKLIST

 

  1. Come up with goals that you want to achieve.

  2. Communicate with your family and partner before leaving.

  3. Get mentally prepared for drastic changes such as loss of jobs and using up savings.

  4. Get to know the locals by spending time with them instead of sticking with working holiday makers like you all the time.

  5. Never accept illegal jobs.

  6. Clarify the payment of salary before you start working.

  7. Read every detail of contracts for work and accommodation.

  8. Do not pay middle agencies for finding jobs.

  9. Seek help from the local labour department when necessary.

  10. Don’t give up easily when facing let-down.
